This information sheet is an invitation to take part in a survey conducted by the University of Nottingham Malaysia about the barriers in science that researchers may experience. For this survey, we are looking for researchers at any level and from any country who examine psychological topics and are 18 years or older.

Before you decide to take part, it is important for you to understand why the research is being done and what it will involve. Please take time to read the following information carefully.

The goal of the survey is to explore barriers that psychology researchers may experience. The outcomes of the survey will be presented at the Thirteenth Conference of the Society for Applied Research in Memory and Cognition (SARMAC).

If you would decide to take part, you will be given a survey asking about your demographic information (age, gender, etc.), your academic background (highest degree, academic role, number of publications, etc.), and barriers you or other people might experience attending conferences or publishing research. The survey takes about 20 minutes to complete.

Participation in this survey is entirely voluntary and you are under no obligation to take part. You are free to withdraw at any point before or during the survey. All data collected will be kept confidential and used for research purposes only. It will be stored in compliance with the Data Protection Act.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to ask. The researcher can be contacted at the email address stated below.
